Here are three pictures of my brother and I together. It is scary to think how long we have known each other and how close we actually are. Through all of our developmental years we experienced much of the same things. This led us to be cut from the same cloth. And anyone who knows us they would agree. While we are much different in a lot of ways, like what we like to do, or what we want to be, or how we approach problems. We are the same in the ways that matter. We can both watch a movie without talking and be pefectly content with just being there. There is no other person better suited for me to hang around. We know what each other is thinking without asking. Back then i hated having a brother most of the time, now i dont know what I would do without one.

Camping

I went camping this weekend. I really love camping. There is something about that just makes you relax. You have to cook all your meals using old fashion methods or at least less easy methods that you do at home. You sleep out in the wilderness among the trees and the sounds. The only thing to do at night is stare into the fire. You actually talk to those around you rather than mindlessly watching a movie, reading a book, or watching TV.

When you wake up in the morning the only thing on your mind is eating and how you will spend your day in the sun. I decided to spend my days reading, Hiking, and throwing the football. Everything becomes so simple when you are camping. You eat, sleep, watch fires and have fun.

Makes me wish I could travel around and camp every where in the country for several summers to come. I think it will be even more fun for me once I am married and have children. I cant wait to show my son or daughter how to build a fire, set up a tent, cook a burger, or pack a backpack.

I love being outdoors. I have said that before. A weekend camping makes it so much harder to go back to my windowless office, and pretend that "this is how I am supposed to live". However when you think about it, I would not be able to afford camping if I did not go to work everyday.

Anyway, if you can go camping, get a tent, take your family and friends with you, and get out there.
