Paths we choose

Everyday we make decisions to go down certain paths that direct the way our lives will end up. Of course, no one can control completely which path they end up on. I am sure that when a family of 4 in Mississippi moved into there 500,000 house near the beach they did not expect the hurricane of life to blow them to a different path of life called homelessness.

However, barring any horrible circumstances such as the one I just mentioned, we do as humans have a great deal of control over where our lives end up. Some people choose to go with the flow and sort of let the river of life guide them down whatever path it may until they reach the ocean. Others like myself choose to not take the river, not go with the flow, and forge there own different path in life to get them to the goal they wish to achieve. Some people are simply dropped into the life they choose to lead and are born where they want to be. Others have to walk hundreds and thousands of miles over mountains and hills to get where they want to go. I think I am one of those people. I am looking for a life of happiness with a women that will love me forever. I am looking for a house I can take care of and a lawn I can mow. I am looking for kids I can raise and times I can share with them. I am looking for a life time of Reading, Learning, Sharing, and FRISBEE of course.

I have found some of these things already on my way to my goal. I still have quite a ways to go though until I reach my ultimate goal.
